In 2019, AHG participated in the ADAHI project on a first-of-its-kind pilot project to quickly freeze Sacrificial lambs in the Hajj season using food-grade Dry Ice. The pilot was a resounding success. And in 2021, AHG participated in the Hajj season with an innovative automated system that we developed to increase the freezing capacity that also allowed the immediate and safe distribution of the ADAHI lambs.
We take pride in the fact that we can do our part to assist Saudi in realizing its Vision 2030. Which we achieve by using captured Carbon Dioxide as the means by which we freeze, thereby helping to reduce Saudi’s CO2 footprint through environmentally conscious means. Also, the entirety of the manpower that was involved in this experiment were proud Saudi citizens, and the automated system was manufactured by a local Saudi company.
And although we are extremely proud of this accomplishment, we set our sights on next year. Where we are working very closely with ADAHI to develop the next iteration of the system that allows us to scale up even further.
